A fundamental assessment visit Led by a dedicated team from USAID, accompanied by the Chief of Party for USAID Tumikia Mtoto in Kenya, was conducted recently to nature Excellence. The visit aimed to evaluate our performance and the status of the project, both OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children) and DREAMS (Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored, and Safe) programs.
The activity commenced with a thorough examination of our overall performance, underscoring the commitment to transparency and accountability. The USAID team methodically reviewed our documentation, ensuring compliance with established standards. Moreover, they took the initiative to visit our collaborating facilities, affirming the collaborative efforts and authenticity of the reported data. This hands-on approach highlights the dedication of USAID towards ensuring the success and impact of the USAID Tumikia Mtoto project.
Throughout the assessment visit, a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect prevailed, fostering a conducive environment for constructive dialogue and exchange of ideas. It was evident that the USAID team was not merely assessing, but actively engaging with our team to identify areas of strength and opportunities for further enhancement.
The visit not only reaffirmed the importance of compliance but also served as a catalyst for renewed commitment towards our shared goal of empowering vulnerable children and adolescents. By working hand in hand, we are not only transforming lives but also building resilient communities that can thrive despite challenges.
As we reflect on the outcomes of the assessment visit, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the USAID team for their unwavering support and guidance. Together, we are realizing a brighter future for all.
