The DREAMS (Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored and Safe) is a program aimed at reducing Hiv/Aids In Adolescent Girls And Young Women (AGYW) through comprehensive evidence-based interventions and services.

Redeemed Integrated Development Agency (RIDA), is implementing a five year USAID DREAMS program through world Vision dubbed TumikiaMtoto within Nairobi county in 5 sub counties i.e. Mathare, kasarani, Embakasi North, Roysambu and Ruaraka.
We are closely working in collaboration with Government ministries and departments as well as other stakeholders to ensure we achieve the project objectives.

The DREAMS main objectives

DREAMS Mentors create ‘safe spaces’ where AGYW can build their supportive social networks and learn about HIV and violence prevention.

Empower adolescent girls and young women and reduce Hiv/Aids risk through youth-friendly reproductive health care and social asset building

Mobilize communities for change with school- and community-based HIV and violence prevention

Reduce risk of sex partners through, HIV testing, referral and treatment program

strengthen families with social protection (education subsidies, combination socio-economic approaches) and parent/caregiver programs.
